Specialist care across eye conditions
When you are referred for specialist eye care, you may be looking for clear answers, careful testing and a treatment plan that suits your eyes. We provide ophthalmic assessment and management for patients from Moonee Ponds, metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Our services include cataract management and surgery, glaucoma care and monitoring, macular and retinal care, diabetic eye disease management, corneal conditions, refractive treatments, oculoplastic services and eyelid procedures.
We also work closely with GPs and optometrists, so your referring clinician stays informed about your progress. To understand the clinical focus of each surgeon, you can visit our surgeons before arranging your appointment.

Clinic-based care where appropriate
Alongside consultations, our clinic rooms have facilities for selected onsite procedures. This may reduce the need for hospital admission for minor treatments when your surgeon confirms that clinic-based care is clinically appropriate.
Onsite procedures include laser treatment after cataract surgery, glaucoma laser treatment including PIs and SLT, retinal lasers, lash laser epilation for trichiasis and eye injections. These treatments may support care for conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease and glaucoma.
Your suitability depends on your diagnosis, eye health and test results. If surgery or a procedure is recommended, your surgeon will explain the expected benefits, limitations and specific risks before treatment proceeds. You can also read more about refractive treatments and injections.
Specialist surgeons with focused clinical expertise
Our surgeons bring specialist training across cataract, retinal, glaucoma and comprehensive eye disease care. We take time to assess your concerns, explain findings clearly and recommend treatment based on your individual needs.

What to expect at your appointment
A current referral from your GP or optometrist is required. Most referrals are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, and a current referral is important for claiming the maximum Medicare rebate.
Please bring your Medicare card, pension card if applicable, Health Care card if applicable, private insurance card if applicable and a list of current medications. Your appointment may include pupil-dilating drops, testing or a procedure, so please allow up to two hours.
Because dilating drops can blur vision and increase light sensitivity, we recommend that you do not drive yourself. For practical details, visit contact us, learn more about our practice or return to the home page.
